From beautiful harpists, string ensembles lead by the world renowned Alexander Abayev, or solo classical guitarists for your "I do's", to nostalgic jazz combos while your guests mingle, we have a wide variety of traditional and innovative choices right here.
Perhaps you'd enjoy a strolling saxophonist serenading your guests as they sip cocktails. Maybe one of our gifted Nuevo Flamenco guitarists is more to your liking. Or we can capture the sounds of the Caribbean with our steel drum bands. Last but not least, our brilliant pianists or piano/vocal duos can recreate the sensuous atmosphere of a dusky jazz club. Our guitarists and string ensembles perform a vast repertoire, including beautiful arrangements of some of today's most popular songs.
We can also offer an array of specialty groups and musicians that can be added as extras to our bands for that taste of culture and tradition. From the Horah to the Tarantella, Greek Bouzouki or Russian Dancers to Mariachi bands, we have the area's best and will handle any special event needs with the utmost care.
Nolan studied at Berklee College of Music and The Julliard School of Music and is a graduate of the SUNY Purchase Conservatory of Music. Nolan has performed in prestigious music venues throughout Europe, South America and the United States. Nolan is equally at home performing classical guitar solos, chamber works, flamenco, jazz and Brazilian music with unique artistry and a technical expertise that are compelling to critics and the general public. Nolan often performs in jazz clubs such as the Blue Note and Jazz Standard as well as The Skirball Center for the Performing Arts, Lincoln Center, Cipriani’s, Bloomberg Events and many other concert halls.
Alexander Abayev , violinist and leader of our string ensembles holds M.A. and Doctorate Degrees with honor and is a cum laude graduate from the Tchaikovsky National Academy of Music in Kiev, Ukraine. He is a winner of the Radio Record International Competition Concertino Prague, the Vox Populi Special Prize at the First International Music Festival of Regina and Vladimir Horowitz, the Seventh Pierre Lantier International Competition in Paris, France, and the Eleventh International Chamber Music Competition in Caltanissetta, Italy. Mr. Abayev plays as a Concertmaster with the Westchester Chamber Symphony. He recently joined the faculty of Adelphi University as a Professor of Violin.
Jonathan’s passion for Spanish/Flamenco music and nylon acoustic guitar is second to none. He has developed his own innovative and completely unique style, known as Nuevo Flamenco, which is not available anywhere else. In the past two years, Jonathan has written and recorded two Nuevo Flamenco CD’s, Spanish Thread and Gitan a la Plage and has been touring the US, Europe and The Caribbean with international artist, Lionel Richie. In addition, he is sponsored by Takamine Guitars. A versatile performer, excelling at both acoustic and electric guitar, Jonathan is also available as a Live/DJ Fusion add-on.
